Howell Lumber Company has been locally owned and managed and in the same location
since before 1909. Our sales staff has more than 130 years of experience!
We have excellent service and pricing, and we deliver on our own trucks using
experienced drivers who care about your product. We are a big lumberyard disguised
as a small package!
We have more than 30,000 linear feet of molding, 1,900 gallons of paint and stains, 300,000 board feet of 2 x lumber (57 miles), 40,000 board feet of 1 x lumber (7.5 miles), and 200,000 square feet of sheet materials. We carry a full line of building materials, from the single 2 x 4 to the complete building package, and our knowledgeable staff can help you choose the right product at the right price.

our lumber
Our
2 x 4 lumber is #2 and better grade, or you may choose to upgrade to our 2100
MSR (machine stress rated). The studs we carry in stock are premium grade
and our wide dimensional lumber (2 x 10, 2 x 12) is select structural grade.
We purchase lumber through reliable wholesalers who only use hand-picked lumber mills that produce a top quality grade of lumber. All our plywood and OSB panels are APA rated, and we only carry brands with a supreme performance record.
